In 1992, Zeta Tau Alpha adopted Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure as its national philanthropy. In addition to Zeta's focus on the Komen Foundation, the fraternity also supports other educational means dedicated to fighting breast cancer through education, awareness and promoting breast health. Alumnae and collegiate chapters devote their service to Komen Race for the Cure, Courage Night, THINK-PINK!, Yoplait, the NFL and other local philanthropies that support the cause.
At Christian Brothers University, the ladies of Zeta Tau Alpha devote their time and efforts to the fight against breast cancer. Through numerous events like, Paint the Campus Pink, Mr. CBU, Look Good Feel Better, Pink Out Basketball Game, and Kiss Away Cancer, ZTA has managed to raise awareness on campus and has donated thousands of dollars to the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation.
