Zeta Tau Alpha - Iota Xi

Welcome Potential New Member,

First, let me congratulate you on choosing Christian Brothers University as your

home for the next four years. With its history of LaSallian education and dedication to its students, CBU is an amazing university and community. With so many options available, I know from experience how daunting it can seem to try to figure out where your interests lie. Will you join SGA? Honors Program? Or perhaps even start a club of your own? All of these options and more are available to you at Christian Brothers University. As a freshman I had always known I would participate in Greek Life, but the question remained. What organization was best for me?

That answer soon became clear. After meeting the amazing women of Zeta Tau

Alpha I knew that I had found exactly where I fit, and I have never regretted this decision. Zeta Tau Alpha has helped shape my past two years at CBU into the best years of my life. In tough times, your sister become the shoulders you lean on, the arms that support you, and the voices that lift you back up. Your sisters cheer for your successes and help you to reach goals higher than what you had thought possible for yourself. I know that with the support, guidance, and most importantly love of my Zeta Tau Alpha sister I can accomplish anything that I wish.

Apart from the amazing sisterhood offered, Zeta Tau Alpha also helps me on

another personal level. During my freshman year of high school, my godmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. After joining ZTA and seeing first hand the work they do as both a national and local organization, I could not be more proud to call myself a member. From participating in Mr. CBU, Pink Out and other chapter events to helping with Race for the Curem I see the dedication of these amazing women every day.

It is my hope that, no matter what organization you choose, you find the kind of love, support and sisterhood that I have found in Zeta Tau Alpha. Perhaps for you, like me, Zeta Tau Alpha will prove to be the home you’ve been searching for.
